@eurasierboy Hey, I just found out about Amaroq - really enjoying it! Mind if I report bugs/feature requests?
@eurasierboy I noticed the "awoo" button changes size when it's been clicked. On a 3.5 or 4 inch phone (iPhone SE, &c.), this causes the "unlisted" text to get squashed line in this screenshot.
@eurasierboy I'd also love a swipe back action to exit the awoo compose page! The "x" to close button scrolls with the content, and on a smaller screen (like my 4-inch iPhone SE screen), the keyboard causes the page to scroll the close button off the page. Takes a few taps to bring it back so I can close the dialogue.
@eurasierboy Excellent!! :D
@eurasierboy Speaking of navigation tweaks, I'd love to see "swipe to go back" more thoroughly integrated. Much of the time, that's more convenient for me than reaching for a close button.
@eurasierboy (Especially when, on a smaller device, the close button can get scrolled offscreen.)
@eurasierboy Speaking of scrolling offscreen, I noticed something when first logging in. After entering the instance I want to log into, the keyboard was still up when it accessed awoo.space's login page. That meant the keyboard was covering the username and password inputs, but there was also no scrollbar so I couldn't scroll them into view.
@eurasierboy Thanks :D
@eurasierboy A couple other bits of feedback:
* When loading an image after tapping on it, it'd be great if the placeholder were left in place before the real image is loaded. It feels jarring to tap an image, and have it replaced by empty space before the image loads.
* Are you planning to add autocomplete for @ mentions? Typing out complete federated names is pretty slow on a phone keyboard.
@eurasierboy Oh, and
* Is there a way to get an @ button into the main keyboard? It's a bit slow to access it via "123".
@eurasierboy Hehe :D
@eurasierboy I honestly hadn't noticed! I think that's a useful progress bar to have, but when I tap the button, my eyes are on the compose box and the button I just hit. Having something there to indicate the button has been pressed would be great.
@eurasierboy Thanks!
@eurasierboy I also don't find the button changing size to be a clear indication that it's currently posting an awoo - the first several times I awooed, I wasn't sure if I had actually hit the button or not. Changing colour would be a lot more legible.
