Why are so many people uncomfortable about using "it" as a pronoun to the creatures that like it?
"But that's objectification!"
"Well yes, that's the point."
"It's dehumanizing!"
"See previous statement."
"It's bad!"
"Not if you're specifically requesting it."
"It's unnatural!"
"Again, yes, exactly."

@emanate I've lost track of how many people I've explained the use of "it" as a pronoun being extremely comfortable to me in friendly contexts.
A lot of them don't still, I'm fine with it at a larger level but such does gnaw softly.
