the Cure song "Killing an Arab" is not intended to be anti-Islamic at all. It's about an old Albert Camus existentialist story in which the main character is a French soldier who has an existential crisis. Smith originally wrote the song as an assignment about the story, in high school.
The same story is where "The Stranger" gets its name.
That's all it's about.
@Leucrotta I always took it to be about a young soldier in his first combat, who's--yeah, I guess "existential battlefield crisis" covers it.
