Director H [lynx]: cautiously optimistic; scratching post largely undamaged
Noelle [unicorn]: still curled up with a bathrobe, chamomile tea, and severe Bed Mane, but finally smiling again
Kirsch [raccoondroids]: pacing around and muttering to their selves a lot, pausing now and then to draw on a classic Wile E. style set of blueprints
Rezeya [tigress]: scratching post in tatters, but nobody's being eaten and at least we can use the couch safely again
Laika [deadish spacedog]: is on six bowl wodka. to you is end of all joy forever. to laika is wednesday.
Schadenfreude [changeling]: mostly pissed that we went and blew the best free buffet of her life
Enmerkar [dragon]: secretly pleased to (a) no longer be dwelling with a bunch of fractious confusing mammals (b) moving in with a nice normal reptile (c) nearer the public library system
??? [jackalope]: Chopping wood. Carrying water. Quietly reminding everyone we've made it through worse.
@zebratron2084 I went with Spouse to the Apollo exhibit at the Museum of Flight, which was enh (I'm not that into rockets and planes? but it was mildly interesting), and saw the display of Laika, and started crying. poor good dog.
@zebratron2084 *nodnod* is best memorial we can give her, I think. you're keeping her name, and her memory, alive--and in Ma'at, that's the most important thing. :]

@green She deserved far better than the black-comedy characterization I've given her, that's for sure. But at least I can practice a little righteous indignation on her behalf.
