@Oneironott fwiw I had to go to an urgent care place recently (spider bite yaye!) and it was, if anything, easier, faster, and smoother than any doctor's visit I've ever had.

it's totally ok if you decide not to go of course, and @Jssra 's advice is spot on. if you can't have somebody be physically present, try to stay online with us for a while, yes?
