things I dreamed (these are all pretty vaguely remembered):

* being a giant dragon, tearing apart a planet for materials to either make myself power armor or possibly a giant new robot body, and throwing chunks of the planet at its moon (because it'd be easier to assemble them there)
* a candy shop that had a lollipop for $19, but smaller "lollipops" of chocolate-covered gummy bears in a big bundle for $5
* wolf brothers, one of whom is a "werewolf," the other is a vampire (I kinda like this)

there was some other stuff but it was either too vague to explain, or utterly mundane (omg the suet cage is empty! I just filled it yesterday! did it melt? DID SQUIRRELS???) (the suet was still there when I woke up this morning, I checked)

@mawr I like my dreams! it's one of the reasons that sleep is one of the core biological functions I'd never want to give up. :)

@green @mawr I wish I could dream more or at least remember my dreams, most of the time I don't remember anything v_v

@vahnj @mawr it takes practice. if you can keep a notebook next to your bed and write down what you remember immediately after waking up, often those notes will prompt you to remember the entire dream later when you look at them. or a voice recorder for mumbling into, though I can't vouch for how well that works as I've never tried it.

@mawr @vahnj I feel like I should carry around a flashing sign "ASK ME ABOUT HOW TO HAVE LUCID DREAMS," I'm afraid I'm a bit of a breathing infodump about it. XD

@green @vahnj So rad :D

I only ever dream lucidly -- if by lucid we mean "aware that you're dreaming and sometimes able to direct it." I just have the world's worst memory, so the moment I wake up, it's gone. Instantly. Notebook by the bed be damned, it won't make it that far. XD

@mawr @vahnj oooh, wow. I am somewhat envious, though not being able to remember the dreams is a powerful negative counterweight to always being lucid. >____<
