@green yeah, i mean, strictly speaking wasn't the whole plot of bunnicula that he didn't actually do much of anything to start with?
@zebratron2084 as I remember it, Bunnicula was... the plot token, rather than an active character, through almost the entire story; it was the cat and dog that did all the things. (I will never not giggle when thinking of "pounding a steak through his heart" in the kitchen late at night) so unless you can be rescued by a rabbit sucking all the juice out of vegetables, you're kinda boned.
