I have a big work presentation to participate in today, and also a second one happening that includes some other stuff I contributed to.
In situations like it's it's reasonable to invoke your megacorp like a goetic demon and ask for favor, right?
@indi *sends many good thoughts your way* though I hesitate to think of what kind of sacrifice would propitiate such a spirit...
@troodon The unbegrudging continuation of my employment here comes to mind. ;)
@indi oh, well, yeah, good point. XD
@indi *sends positive energy your way*
@indi Always, friend. *smiles* Putrefaction of Impure Quicksilver. Be clear and focused. Let go of the messages you know won't be heard, share your truths in your voice, and believe in your own power to manifest your joy.
@indi *sending hugs and a little bit of energy from the mountains your way* <3
@indi Good luck!
I dunno if I'd invoke the company's spirit unless it is a Public Benefit Corporation or somesuch. I can't imagine very nice egregores growing from the way most large corporations act...
@anthracite @indi Yeah, please don't pet the Demiurge, darlin'. ;p <3
@zebratron2084 @anthracite To be clear, this was not a petting, this was "The circle is in the triangle and you are in the circle and I speak to you with the authority of all the hours I've burnt for you over the past 5 years so you better listen" ^.^
@indi @zebratron2084 hahaha oh that's different, yes go right ahead :)
@indi @anthracite Oh, that's different. As far as I'm concerned, faintly *threatening* plutogoetic entities is always a fine idea. :D
Yeah this is an excellent example of the different use-cases for invocation vs. evocation
The invocation is "hey spirits of constructive work and calm balance, be close here with me."
The evocation is "Hey megacorp egregore, you sit over THERE and let's have a talk" ;)
@indi woho!
@indi Yay! :D
Relatedly, I could use any good vibes and positive energy and helpful spirits that anyone might have available. ^.^
(I am also doing invocation of actually-helpful entities as well, if anyone's concerned. :))
