Confirmed effect #1 of my week of meditation practice: am now a big meditation proponent.
...I think this is a very well-documented effect, isn't it.
@PrincessOfCats TBH he actual first effect was probably more the emotional lability I was tweeting about last night? Sometimes I need this to break down the dams that my coping mechanisms build up.
@PrincessOfCats And like, right now I can't imagine doing 60 mins a day, but on the other paw a week ago I couldn't imagine doing 15 mins a day soooo hey.
@PrincessOfCats It did occur to me that once I'm off of morning dilation, I could use that time for something like this. ;)
Though honestly I might prefer to do more of a structured morning ritual/devotional (which would probably still include a few mins of meditation)

@indi Meditation has been my biggest... method of getting into touch with things, whatever the focus of it (or lack thereof) is.
IDK, it's been really good to me on my path, so I'm a bit biased
