Describing Gateway's background music

If you listened closely, in the public areas of Gateway Station, there was a background soundtrack being played through disguised planar magnetic speakers at a level just above subliminal. The music began when KA-33 was finally online and controlling Gateway's internals. When mAI asked her about it, KA basically gave a digital shrug, with the only explanation was that the music was being generated out of several concurrent and distributed cognitive processes that were all daughter threads of the master consciousness process. Requests could be sent, and output changed and manipulated, but KA couldn't turn it off without causing a lot of pain to herself.

mAI suggested rather than broadcasting out in the station, that KA just add speakers to the new mobile platforms she was prototyping.

So that's why any huskybot will happily share whatever they have been listening to if asked. And frequently they will share without prompting.
