@IrisKalmia Having ridden in a Bell Star as a main for a few years, I can endorse it as a comfortable and pleasant helmet experience and you should get one.
@kelseyhusky I seem to have a narrow head ;-;
@IrisKalmia your head is still valid and more than just wanting you in a cool helmet, I want you to be safe. So getting you into a helmet that FITS properly is my first priority. Have you tried any of the Bell Qualifiers yet? The internal shape is a little different than then Stars and I wore one longer than I wore my Star Carbon. The Qualifier was actually the first Bell that fit me, and they cost less than the Stars.
@kelseyhusky the star itself seemed promising! I had a nolan for a bit but can't stand buckle-closures.
A lot of helmets I've encountered have been roundiebois and local selection in austin is rather lacking c:
@kelseyhusky I'd been trying to get a race star on close out off the internets and gave up on the sizing game also it was really expensive even at the cut rate D:
@IrisKalmia valid!
@kelseyhusky med and small ordered, will return the illfititng one :3
@IrisKalmia congrats! I hope it ends up fitting!
@kelseyhusky if it does I may try and grit my teeth and get a transition lens
@kelseyhusky I tried a medium and large Race Star and they were big... the idea of my head fitting in a small hurts said head
