-Kinda queer coded hero though, so that's cute.
-Transboy, not the best handled, but he's got some seriously sword-boy-who-fucks energy, show does Dilandau dirty :<

-Cool mecha called Guymelefs (and yes it sounds like "guy milfs" and I'm very here for guymilfs)

If you wanting to watch this, I highly recommend the movie instead. It's a cut down retelling of them anime but I think is just better quality all around. But the Anime holds a special place in my heart.

Cuz people probably don't know of it. It wasn't like... amazingly good, I know my love of it is through rose colored glasses and I will accept that.
But also, Dilandau is a perfect boy.

gods I wanna find better images of the Crima Claw. It's such a cool weapon that I don't think really ever is duplicated.
Liquid metal melded through the club-like hand structure. They often twist and solidify to form blades but can be shot in liquid form like whips or javelins. Notably also can form large claws, but like... can't find a scene of it happening online <_<
All around a unique weapon I've not seen since.

@kelseyhusky I mean, tbh I've found a lot of those abridged series use some really phobic jokes? I legitimately LIKE Escaflowne, I'd love to watch it again with better translation and some personality behind the voice acting
(as much as I do like subs, TBH a good dub is hard to say no to)
