@LexYeen It's not like I disagree that they could improve their interaction model, but we don't have the whole story. The directive to be as openly hostile about assimilation could have come from somewhere deep in the Borg's origin. No organization is immune to inertia.
@LexYeen which makes sense. Especially if they tried the non-violent approach already and got smacked down for being evangelical techlust zombies. So they got radicalized in self-defense and it just went too far. Cause you know, that's not something that /ever/ happens.
