a question for people with wildly colored hair!

Frequently when I first wake up and turn on the lights in the bathroom, I’ll see a glimpse of myself in the mirror, and my hair will be the *wrong color* for a second. Then when I focus on it, it’ll be fine.

Do I just have broken texture pop-in? or is this some weird visual processing effect where my brain is rejecting invalid color data initially?

@leafnoodle i have never had this experience before, but when i first dyed my hair, my manager definitely had a delayed reaction b/c she wasn't expecting to see me bright purple, and expectations can color perception?
