@Nephila agreed! the notion of “we would like you to be part of this community instead of a ghost” is very foreign to monolithic social media.

@leafnoodle I wish there wasn't so much push back to the idea of just manually re-uploading to masto any content you wanted to cross post. It skips the automated stuff that has no relevance and allows you to reformat for the much better mastodon length and lets you add relevant CWs that twitter culture seems to not care to bother with. It feels like an arguement from the twitter side where they just don't want to put a little more effort in to follow how the two communities differ in their interaction. We want their content, as long as its relevant and you know, treated as something they want to interact with.
