TFW you want to be supportive and encouraging of new trans folk by saying, "look, even I can pull it off," only to realize you've been in transition so long your progress no longer looks realistic.
I mean, the effect is amazing, but telling people, "yeah, this is the combined result of HRT, losing forty kilos, laser hair removal, augmentation surgery, and learning how to not give a fuck about whether other people think you pass, and it only took sixteen years" doesn't seem very helpful.
