Morning-after Postmortem
My mixed-peel kugelhopf stuck to the bundt pan; more flour to coat and a better job of it. I may need to consider a different tin, or possibly something other than flour, maybe parchment paper.
The homemade mixed peel was too hard; next batch needs to boil longer and use only syrup, no extra sugar.
The crumb was amazing. I've never had a cake with that texture before. The flavor was good but the citrus needed abother note to balance it.
Magic frosting is shockingly easy.
