there is absolutely no indication whether clicking on an @-name will open that user's profile in the last column or in a new tab, and it's a pain to have it in a new tab if you wanna interact (follow or reply/fav/boost toots)

@ColinShark I always have Masto in a pinned tab so that doesn't happen for me, but that would be even more annoying

@noiob for me on web it's in the same tab, on a new column.
I usually click with the mousewheel or control and left mousebutton.
