no idea what was actually wrong there because Windows kept booting fine but the UEFI kept complaining about SATA, I ended up fixing it by just slightly jiggling the drive plugs

@elomatreb ah well... I also have to twist the power cables quite a bit because this case has horrible drive mounts, that probably doesn't help
