it'd be really cool if I could store my input settings and preferred fighter(s) and costumes on my amiibo and just bop them on a friend's Switch

@er1n you can store an outfit on an amiibo for Sploon 2 and bop it in between matches or on the outfits screen to quickly switch outfits

@noiob I thought they were actually little personal memory cards at first. Disappointed to find out they weren't. I still have a couple, but nothing that reads them.
@Mycroft my phone app says my Inkling girl has 540 bytes of storage, so probably a bit too small for game saves

like, in general I amiibos as a gimmick are fun and most people buy them as a nice lil figure but they'd also be really cool as practical, stylish data storage. Kinda like the stored outfit shortcuts in Splatoon
