hm, I found weird brown dots on the inside of some test tubes and a pipette of a crappy cheapo chemistry set I don't think I ever did anything yet, including one of the test tubes that had a cork, but not all of them? I think the chemicals (and it's all pretty tame stuff, it's really mild experiments, I think the most dangerous stuff is copper sulphate) are still pretty closed? (cont.)

but on some of them the labels have deteriorated differently so I'm not sure? and the room smells awful but I originally thought something had died in the wall

it's at my parents' so I don't know how quickly the smell came but it's not nice and airing out the room only helps temporarily, so I carried the chemistry set to the attic and opened a window wide
if anyone knows anything about chemicals and has an idea (on the thread this is a reply to) I'd love to hear it
