okay there's no way my toe is broken if I can move it and touch it without too much pain right? I think I just massively bruised the sucker, which, fair, I'm extremely clumsy

@noiob If you can move it, and it's not bright red and swollen, it's probably not broken.

If it's your toe, and you can't move it and it's bright red and swollen, it might still not be broken - it might be gout. (I know from experience.)

re: injury+

@noelle it's definitely my toe, I can move it, it's swollen but not red but it has blue hematoma, and I don't think you get gout from stubbing your toe very hard, correct me if I'm wrong

re: injury+

@noiob You definitely don't get gout from stubbing your toe very hard! I'm just ruling out all the possibilities. :)

Yeah, that's a sprain at most. If it doesn't go away in a day or two, see a doctor maybe? But you should be okay.

re: injury+

@noelle thanks, it's been like 48 hours? and it's gotten a lot better

re: injury+

@noiob excellent. You are likely in no danger. :) Keep it iced to keep the swelling down, and you'll be fine.

re: injury+

@noiob (I have weird knowledge about digit injuries. >_>)

re: injury+

@noelle that is very useful knowledge to have, thanks a lot for sharing it. Tbh I could've probably iced it more consistently, but I didn't really feel the need after I slept…
