one thing that REALLY bothers me about the windows defender is that, if you're extracting archives that have like, let's say 40k files in them, defender will make it take a week to move the files. as soon as you disable it, transfer speeds shoot up...

@MochiWaifu I mean, it's a basic issue of antivirus software, scanning files takes time

@noiob it's not acceptable to have transfer speeds as low as 20kb though, especially as my transfer went from over 2 hours with Defender, to 5 minutes :v

@MochiWaifu I guess they wanna catch files as soon as possible, I saved a malicious html to disk to look at it once and I don't think it even got copied before it was intercepted
