I guess this was bought at Eaton's. That's pretty rad.

Just remember not to ask Monsieur Eaton to send you a Canadiens sweater.

Some bad photos of the rear of this absolute unit. The myriad of ways there are to connect things to it is amazing, technology used to be chaotic.

@onfy it's well-documented though! I miss when things would come with like, circuit diagrams and everything

@noiob That's what pisses me off when people say old tech like this is too hard to repair. Just because you're an idiot, doesn't mean it's impossible!

Though it's extremely large...

@onfy old tech is the only tech that's repairable at all… on a modern TV you have to replace the whole board if one component breaks

@noiob No one cares sadly. When I try explaining that they just make like an ostrich.

@noiob I think the explanation was "I used to know a guy who repaired TVs but he's dead now so I guess no one knows how anymore"

bitch, you're 80, almost everyone you know is dead...

@onfy ha! my dad used to repair CRTs and occasionally still does, he fixed my cute lil Trinitron right up

@noiob Well, this person is also of the opinion that everything can (still) be found in the phone book, so...

@onfy I haven't looked in a phone book in so long lol

@onfy actually, come to think of it, when I don't have internet I can't call anyone anyways

@noiob At this point you can't even call anyone without electricity. VoIP, but who needs battery backup?
