covid, fatalistic
ngl seeing people on my timeline at potential superspreader events (sometimes without masks on) makes me die a little inside
people going to GDC because it's their job are exempt I guess except for the asshats that apparently went around knowing they were positive istg can't people show a little solidarity
re: covid, fatalistic
"but you're vaccinated" yeah and I still got covid and could've gotten severe chronic illness
"well now you're extra protected cuz you also had it" fun fact: you can get it multiple times, there's fun variants and people seem to have decided to just give up and go lick every door handle
re: covid, fatalistic
also even if it's now suddenly fine for "healthy" people to swim in the germ pool there's still vulnerable people out there who definitely can't, ffs
also I keep hearing both "we'll just have to make sure hospitals get overwhelmed" and news of hospitals having to delay "non-urgent" surgeries because they're fucking overwhelmed
re: covid, fatalistic
@noiob Mandates were removed a few weeks ago here and now most people are going maskless. I've been saying this for some time, no one believes me either.
re: covid, fatalistic, ugh
@noiob People don't have common sense nowadays...
Have a nice break, don't let yourself get too overwhelmed
covid, fatalistic
re: covid, fatalistic
@trysdyn god I fucking hate that attitude, as if the virus cares whether you acknowledge it or not
re: covid, fatalistic
