it's kinda funny how different regions' Singstar discs with the same name can have completely different track lists, like SingStar Pop US and UK have four songs in common (from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_songs_in_SingStar_games_(PlayStation_2))
@onfy I think they were much more popular in Europe, especially Germany, we got some exclusive games that didn't come out anywhere else
@noiob You got a lot of exclusive games. The majority of the series never came out here. (And yet simultaneously, we got over 10 Singstar games here I think...)
@onfy I mean, making new SingStar games must've been the easiest thing in the world, just pick like twenty songs from whatever Sony already has the rights to, map them and ship it
@onfy honestly it's a shame they killed the series because there's no reason it shouldn't work today, people still love karaoke
@noiob It probably turned out people didn't want to pay to do so...
@noiob Yeah, that probably goes a long way to explaining how they managed to poop out like 50 of them in about 3 years.
@noiob Kinda generous to call it the same game.
Those Singstars really seem to have been made with Europe in mind.
