@onfy worst case it'll just refuse to work unless it's like, dangerously out-of spec. I doubt it needs that much power though

@noiob The reason I put it in this adapter is specifically because it uses an AC adapter. This particular SSD frequently doesn't work in my other adapter, which is USB powered. (Funnily enough my SATA HDD always does... apparently an SSD needs more power than an HDD, at least to turn on... it's a very old model though, and it only seems to not work after it's been sitting for a while.)
