there was no slot for the disc, melee was just in there forever. like what else are they going to play
that's what they said on stream anyway. wouldn't be surprised if it was a joke. who plays from a real disc

@noiob i play mkwii on my wii u for hdmi out so my wii is freed up to be a melee machine
@monorail yeah I just never had an opportunity and when I play with friends it's gonna be Ultimate
@monorail now that I think about it, I played every other Smash on the intended Hardware, lol
