why do y'all want $300 for your consoles?? dudes?
I should walk into the game store and ask what their prices are. Maybe we could get a normal PS4 for around the $100 mark there.
Then again, maybe not.
There's a $140 one on Craigslist that also comes with 3 controllers.
We don't need 3 controllers. Maybe we could talk them down to $100 and only take one controller?
Oh yeah AND there's the 6 games that we don't need.

I'm probably just gonna either sell at the game store or actual trade-trade (they do those too I think) for games we want, like HZD. Might keep God of War though, we've heard it's really good.
@noiob Or we could just maybe buy a PS4 from the game shop – I'm curious how their prices compare. It's probably gonna be better to buy from this Craigslist dude though, so I dunno whether to wander in and ask.

Found a PS3 a while back for /$25/ on Craigslist. Works perfectly. Had to buy a controller from the gameshop though, it blows my mind that we paid more for the controller than the actual console.

@frostwolf ha, I also have a hackable Slim, got lucky and got it for 30€ (plus gas money to Belgium tho)
@noiob The slim is our Nostalgia Console version, too, it's what our parents had when we were a pup. We didn't even know other kinds existed until we went looking around to buy one more recently.
@noiob The PS4 was a regular PS4, but strangely, we don't have much of an attachment to the PS4 style – but we're goin' regular since it's cheaper than Pro and has an optical port.
@noiob Since the main thing we're /getting/ it for is a PS5 game, though, the Pro'd be nice.

hm, there's a $200 pro. $200 is A Bit Expensive though. We should probably just go with the regular. Also the regular looks nicer.
(also, funnily enough, I'm a little worried about height! I doubt the Pro would be any taller than our VCR currently under the PS3, but if it is, it'd be getting dangerously close to scraping our PS3 on the "ceiling" shelf above it. :3)
(we're gonna take out the VCR and uhhh I don't even know what to do with it)

@noiob ...also, does this look like a scratch on the front or just a bad reflection?
I'm guessing bad reflection because it doesn't show up in a different angled photo, but that different angled photo is zoomed out more so it's hard to see details as much.
