Is anyone out there familiar with the problem on old TVs where the signal on one RCA connector seems to "bleed" into its neighbour? e.g. on my TV some of the video signal is ending up being output by the speakers, and the display becomes more faded and unstable as a result.

@noiob Yes, it's fine on my HDTV, and it happens regardless of what I plug in. For my TV it's primarily the input on the front this is happening to, the connectors on the back are much less severely affected. But plugging stuff with short cords into the back is not convenient.
