baffled by bad javascript that looks like
arr = new Array(3);
arr[1] = something;
arr[2] = something else;
arr[3] = yet another thing;
like, i understand thinking you need to allocate the array first and then fill it, if you're coming from c or something similar? you don't have to do that in js but i understand why that mistake would be made
but like. who thinks you need to preallocate arrays in javascript but also thinks array indices start at 1 instead of 0? where does that specific combination of mistakes come from
