I love SimCity 2000, I love Cities: Skylines, but come onnnnnn it's been over 30 years since the genre started
@clayote people didn't like that one because it had always-online, shipped half-broken and had a ridiculously small play area
@clayote good to know it had its upsides, I guess they actually hired city planners to design it
@noiob Workers & Resources makes your peeps actually buy cars, for which there needs to be a dealership, and if you don't have one then they use public transit for everything
It also makes you spend a ton of time managing your *freight* network, so um, caveat emptor I guess
