I did remember correctly, Xenoblade Chronicles Wii is locked to 16:9.

That's what's great about CRTs with enhanced anamorphic display, it gives you extra vertical resolution, though the picture is still squished to a smaller display area.

@noiob Same about 50/60hz display. If only I could find that option.

@noiob On a serious note though what's real fancy with this TV is it can automatically adjust the aspect ratio.

@onfy Scart has a pin for that though in my experience it's rarely used

@noiob Yeah, but somehow it does this with regular composite/svid/component. Only seems to work with DVD players and PS3.

@noiob Why does everyone think it's letterboxing? The image is transmitted in full without letterboxing.
