@noiob@rnd we had a bootleg disc that just loaded itself into ram and then stopped the disc from spinning
all it did was put a menu on screen like "press X to boot from the disc". so you'd just have to boot to that disc first and then you could switch over to another one as leisurely as you'd like
@noiob@rnd of course this still meant installing like, random plastic clips into the disc mechanism to artificially activate the sensors so it never knew when the disc tray was open... good times :3
