@DPSsys it might put it in alt but not in title which means it'll only show up when the image doesn't load?
@noiob @clonejo I had no idea this existed and it is an incredibly confusing implementation. The standard here. It says to avoid using it to duplicate the alt attribute but what I see you often have no choice when you want an alt text that should also appear as a tooltip and mastodon does it what I need in the inspector. If I had written such a standard I would just have made alt text shown as a tooltip in the first place instead of this strange redundancy
@noiob @clonejo I hope they change it so it displays title first otherwise alt on browsers so people do not need the title thing to begin with
