So they’re going to start charging per-install, right? Which means, for every game made with it the Unity runtime is going to be phoning home with identifying information about a user’s system and the game in order to track and enforce this.

And there will be no opt-out for the users.

@noiob Aside from when a developer has specifically made use of Unity Analytics or Unity’s ads system—both of which are opt-in tools on the developer’s end and not what I’m talking about here—do you have anything to support this statement?
