Normal for thermostat to click on and then immediately off?

@onfy there should be a hysteresis as to not unnecessarily stress the heater

@noiob Well, it'd come on for a few seconds, off for a few, on again... did this about 5 times before keeping the heat on. I did remark it probably isn't healthy.

@onfy yeah that sounds like something's broken. Is it a digital thing or is there like, still a little vial of mercury inside?

@noiob Digital. It emits a loud click when it turns on or off, and I can hear it click on and then again off about a second after.

Ay ay ay I can't even get a fucking toilet fixed. I guess I'll just have to learn to live winter without heat. :blobupsidedown:
