personally, I'm not sure if button-shaped links are that great, they should probably be avoided where possible, but even when they're not the cursor shows that they can be e.g. middle-clicked to open in a new tab and will show a link-specific context menu
then again, "hand cursor=clickable" is the norm on the web and in many webtech-based apps now and being right doesn't magically change every webapp out there
