@raccoonformality yeah you could totally do that. I read stuff on my iPad mini. But I don't think the target audience for this necessarily has a tablet lying around and this could be a very attractive offer

@noiob i guess i'm mainly angry because there are so many android tablets and not that many e-ink tablets so this company going away from e-ink means there is even less competition from amazon's like monopoly on the ereader market

@raccoonformality surely that's not meant to replace their whole range? looks more like a more premium alternative

there's not a lot of good Android tablets around tbh, though I wouldn't expect much for $150

@raccoonformality don't get me wrong, I love eInk but my next eInk device would probably be sth like a Supernote or one of the Boox tablets, eReaders are so limited

@raccoonformality I mean, Amazon has the fire tablets as their "multimedia" kindle alternative, this looks less shit than those
