@noiob you can via a neat little trick
if you exported your chara data, copy it from Documents/My Games/FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn into the Documents/My Games/FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn (Benchmark) folder and rename it to something like FFXIV_CHARA_BENCH10.dat
now your chara will appear in the list and as long as you dont enter the actual editor part of the character editor, it will keep your ingame unlockable hair
