@onfy if you paid him, maybe, but I was more talking about how he's still alive and mostly well

I'm also suddenly remembering the Chinese control board that makes your TV multistandard, that's probably more involved to install

@noiob ...also, since crts aren't common anymore, it's not something people commonly learn now. this is "the wisdom of the ancients," those who know it are getting old, retiring, dying...
