@Natanox @noiob tbh nextcloud leaves a lot on the table for its *dav integration. macos isn't really aware of autoconfiguring nextcloud dav aswell. good for kde when it does, but it's not a showstopper for others when they don't

@noiob @Natanox yup, lacking autodiscovery makes it hard for most plattforms to integrate dav somewhat decently. kde shows its possible, so i think its only a matter of time until others do aswell.

@Natanox @noiob (me lacking knowledge and understanding to read the manual accordingly isn't out of this world for me to imagine, but i wasn't able to configure anything resembling autodiscovery)

@maximemelian @noiob Not really, I already had to set up the proper .well-known addresses many versions ago. Any provider for managed Nextcloud instances will have those too, should be rather hassle-free.

@maximemelian @noiob They do? 🤔 As long as the .well-known thingies are set (which Nextcloud *will* complain about if it isn't) you just need to point to the main URL. What's actually a little bit confusing is the App-Password generation you have to know about to not get stuck.
