Ouff! Not even Nextcloud (well, not natively at least). That's an even weaker selection than #KDE, which already is kinda bad in this regard. They should take a serious look at #Gnome.
#ElementaryOS #Linux
@Natanox nextcloud does caldav natively, doesn't it? https://docs.nextcloud.com/server/latest/user_manual/en/groupware/sync_osx.html
@noiob The underlying features are CalDav, CardDav and WebDav, that's true. Still, I'd have expected ElementaryOS (given it's approach to UI/UX) to offer the same Single-Login solution other systems do.
@maximemelian @Natanox I'm not saying it's good but it does exist
@maximemelian @noiob But… it does auto-discover the proper *dav addresses? 🤔
@maximemelian @noiob Not really, I already had to set up the proper .well-known addresses many versions ago. Any provider for managed Nextcloud instances will have those too, should be rather hassle-free.
@noiob @Natanox yup, lacking autodiscovery makes it hard for most plattforms to integrate dav somewhat decently. kde shows its possible, so i think its only a matter of time until others do aswell.
