@mcc I'm not sure what's the problem you can just download an epub and open it in a compatible reader (google play books will open them, I've used ReadEra before)

@mcc tbh I don't remember why I stopped using play books but readera is pretty nice

play books syncs your books between devices and is a bit more streamlined

@mcc in firefox I just press the "open" button when it's finished downloading the file, it shows me a list of all epub-compatible apps

@mcc you can probably do the same thing in Files

@noiob @mcc I think that's the quickest/easiest way when you've currently got the browser open for downloading books. But you can also switch to ReadEra and open its ‘Books and Documents’ view; it will automatically scan your folders for compatible files and add new ones to the top of the list.
