I need some advice... I love refilling my fountain pens with a different ink without flushing them, so there is a gradient effect when I write. So far it works... do you think this could be bad for the pen? #inktalk

@distel should be fine as long as you're mixing water-based with water-based

@noiob I think in fountain pens there's only waterbased.. ah, maybe you mean the waterproof inks that are now available? that makes sense not to mix them with the others!

@distel hm, the page Wikipedia's quoting is cautioning against mixing inks willy-nilly because it "sometime causes problems with a reaction between the various chemicals etc". web.archive.org/web/2014040709marcuslink.com/pens/ink/index.

Wikipedia quotes it but talks about ph changes changing the color in unexpected ways and particles going out of solution when the solvent concentration changes
