it's kinda funny that a ton of stores will just sell you a bottle of pressurized co2 for home use just because someone figured out you can totally carbonate water at home

@noiob I feel like carbonating water at home predates buying it pre-carbonated. Weird that it made such a comeback

@pup_hime it's been around forever, my Grandma had a soda-club machine when I was a kid. Also wikipedia says the carbonated soft drink came first, I don't think pressurized containers of co2 for home use were feasible in the late 1700s

@noiob I underestimated how old carbonated drinks were

@noiob the CO2 price is very silly if you run the number on these small tanks
it’s worth considering a gastro carbonation setup

@uint8_t I'm not having massive tanks of CO2 delivered and it's way cheaper than getting bottled water

@noiob Not so funny, that these Stores refuse to take any bottle back without me buying a new one.
