Oh, so, does anyone have a recommendation for a media converter for fiber to copper? If I read this all right, it's an SC/UPC connector on the fiber side. I'm hoping that with MAC clone and the settings exposed in the admin interface I could replace the telco provided router with my own, but the openwrt one doesn't have a fiber connector.

@trini does the telco router not have a modem mode? that'd be the easiest way

@noiob I will look, but I don't know. It's a ZTE ZXHN F670L and for regular users, it's fine/great (reasonable ports, OK wifi range).

@trini it has a bridge mode that might be exactly what you want

@noiob Oh, hmm. Do you have a link to what I assume you found? I see under WAN where I can add a bridge mode, but I'm not quite sure what to do to finish setting it up.
