This seems neat get.playtil.es/ but I'm worried about latency. I checked my reaction time at cps-check.com/reaction-test and I consistently get at least 100ms more lag on my phone vs. the computer, and button travel time will presumably add a few ms on top of that. I just don't know if touchscreens will ever be an appropriate input for action games

What I'd really like is a controller that my phone slides into like a dock and connects via USB. Surely something like this is possible? I've seen videos of people connecting USB floppy drives and other silliness to their phone through the charging port, why not a gamepad? That would finally make the smartphone a useful gaming device, but I've never seen anything like it

@noiob Sorry, I meant something with the form factor of the playtile. Hold the phone vertically, 4-6 buttons and a D-Pad at the bottom, the top half becomes the screen. Something small enough to keep in my pocket
