I may have made a mistake.

got a friend to move from DCS Steam edition to Standalone

got her to trial the F16C,

her setup of hotas. no pedals, VR headset.

she got up into the air and just spiraled around me after take off and I think she is in love with it.

I have produced a great wingfox of a friend, but she loves the view so much I'm not sure I'll ever have a EWO or WSO xD

I gave her a taste of greatness, I'm not sure she'll ever accept a seat blocking her view

this is mostly a joke in all, I'm sure she'll fly other things just was a funny thought, I started her off with the best view ever, that said she first flew the Su-25T and the TF-51D

all this said, I cursed myself with the F-16C

I can't stand the lil hoop you get from canopy connecting to the windshield, it's as bad as A pillars on cars, but worse because its optional when I can just fly the F-16 instead :p bubble canopies are great especially when you don't have/want to use headtracking/vr

but at the same time mirrors are good too, if you use them, which I don't because performance and resolution so low its almost useless

With headtracking, pillars aren't so bad, also funny thing, my friend with VR just stuck her head out the window of the TF-51D to look around the engine, canopy closed, just clipped out xD

(I guess motorbikes in meatspace work too but I can't ride one yet)
