i see a lot of talk about annoying replies on here but i never really get those. i think i did once, years ago?

i don't doubt that it happens, i just see folks talk about it like it's this huge constant phenomenon everyone experiences, and it's just not my experience of fedi! i assume part of this comes down to what instance you're on and how well it's moderated (and of course what you post about)

i dunno, it feels like i'm living in a different world. i guess that's the nature of federation!

@noiob yeah, i think so too. meow.social limits mastodon.social and i think that cuts down on a lot
